Casual Riggers 

Are you an Entertainment Rigger looking for a new experience? Is safety your number one priority? Do you enjoy working in a fast paced environment? This may be your next exciting role! 

We are currently seeking experienced casual Riggers to join our Technical Team. As a Rigger at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, you will work within a close knit team to install and remove lifting points in our Main Arena, Sports Centre and function areas. You will also install and remove curtains for dressing off backstage areas or unsold seating in the Main Arena and Sports Centre. 

You will ensure the rigging equipment is inspected and safe prior to use and report any defective equipment to your supervisor. To succeed, you will have extensive experience within the rigging industry, be well versed in all rigging and safety equipment and be proactive across all areas of workplace health and safety. You will be a team player who works collaboratively with colleagues, supervisors and managers. As our business is driven by events, we require flexible individuals who can work a range of shifts. 

To be considered, you must hold a current intermediate riggers ticket, general site induction and working at heights certification. Current elevating work platform and forklift licences would be advantageous.

Casual Cleaners, Presentation Services 

Our Presentation Services Team ensure the immaculate presentation of the Centre across all scheduled events. 

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment for both internal and external clients, working across all areas of the Centre including the Arena, Sports Centre, offices and public areas. Your ability to work as part of a team within a fast paced environment, high level attention to detail and thorough cleaning standards will ensure your success in this role. You will have the capability and flexibility to work a range of shifts and follow and act on directions from your supervisor promptly.

Casual Production Crew Team Members

We are currently seeking individuals to join us as part of our Production Crew Team. These positions will see you provide ongoing high level support across a range of functions within our technical department to ensure our hirer's requirements are achieved in a safe and professional manner. 

Whilst on shift, your duties will be varied and may include; building and dismantling stages, risers and temporary seating platforms, setting and removing furniture in dressing rooms, offices, foyers etc, installation and removal of handrails, stairs, signage and general assistance with the maintenance of assets across the venue. 

To succeed, you will be an enthusiastic team player that understands the importance of safety in the workplace. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to follow and act on directions promptly and the flexibility to work a range of shifts as rostered. 
A current  white card and reliable transport are essential for this role while a forklift licence is desirable.
