For patrons attending events in the Main Arena or Sports Hall, there is a designated smoking area in front of the main entry on the lower plaza level where smoking is permitted and it is not an offence under State legislation to smoke in this designated area.

The designated smoking area in front of the main entry on the lower plaza level is within the perimeter fence line, so patrons are not required to get a pass out to smoke in this area.
