COVID-19
As of 1am Thursday 14 April 2022 patrons are not required to show proof of vaccination to attend events. You can find out more information by visiting Queensland Health.
EVENTS
For most events, we don’t get this information until the week of the show, so check out the event page that you are interested in. Please keep in mind running times on these pages are approximate and subject to change without notice. Further information is sent out via email to the Ticketek account holder the day before, so please ensure your email address is up to date in your Ticketek account.
Strict size limits on all backpacks and bags is in place for most events. Bags larger than an A4 sheet of paper will not be permitted into the venue. For details, please visit the event page of the show you are attending. If you need to bring a large bag for medical or other essential reasons, please see information around medical register. All bags are subject to a security search prior to entry.
We do suggest a less is best policy and recommend you leave your big bags at home. But if needed our free cloakroom is located adjacent to the Ticketek Box Office. Any bags submitted to the cloakroom will be subject to a bag search prior to cloaking.
Of course you can bring this along. Patrons with a medical condition can bring medical supplies from home however we ask that you contact the Centre on (07) 3265 8111 and register your details or emails bec@brisent.com.au listing the event you attending as well as what medical equipment you will need to bring. This will ensure any issues can be avoided on the night of the event.
As the policy for the use of cameras varies at each event, please check the event specific event page for information regarding the camera policy. As standard policy, professional cameras (cameras with a detachable/telephoto lens), audio/video recording devices as well as Tablets (All electronic tablets measuring greater than 170mm diagonally) and Drones are not permitted at the Centre. Selfie Sticks/Monopods and tripods are also prohibited.
All lost property is held at the Venue’s security office located in Administration (Level 1). Items not collected from our cloakroom after the event are treated as lost property. Please contact the Centre on (07) 3265 8111 for all Lost Property enquiries.
No you can not. The external BEC grounds are closed and locked each night. They re-open at 6am each day.
You are welcome to queue at the turnstiles the day of the event. Please ensure you dress for the weather conditions, bring food and water as they can not be purchased.
Please reach out to one of our friendly staff to report an issue. Our Front of House Ushers are in Teal shirts and will be more than happy to assist.
All guests in attendance are required to be fully dressed and wear shoes at all times for their own safety. Centre Management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.
Yes everyone attending needs a ticket.
Non ticketed guests will not be permitted into the Centre. Ensure tickets are distributed to attendees prior to arriving.
Each event is different so check the event page. Any Patron, 15 years or under, must be accompanied by an adult.

A Parents Room is located on the Main Concourse (Level 2) opposite Door 8.
You aren’t able to bring your pram inside the venue but you can store it at our external cloakroom which is located adjacent to the Ticketek Box Office. Capsule carriers aren’t able to be brought inside but a soft wearable one, that doesn’t obstruct the view of other patrons, is allowed inside.

As a condition of entry and to assist in providing a safer environment for everyone, a security search and wanding will take place prior to entry.

After the security check you will scan your tickets to enter. All patrons must have a valid ticket to gain entry into the Centre. Entry to the Main Arena is via the door number printed on your ticket. Please see the Front of House staff who will direct you to your seat. Please note: No ticket, no entry.

1300 Medics are engaged for all public events. First Aid rooms are located opposite Doors 3 and 12 on the Main Concourse (Level 2) and an additional room on Level 1. The number of rooms in operation varies with each event. Please ask staff for directions to the closest first aid room if required.
Merchandise is available for most events. Please note the BEC is a cashless venue. Patrons attending the BEC with cash only will be able to exchange it for a ‘Cash Card’. Our staff can show you where.
The performers merchandise company is responsible for the content and price, therefore they are only available at events and cannot be pre-purchased online. If you need to return or exchange your purchase after the event, you must contact the merchandise company directly.
Smoking is prohibited in the Courtyard within the perimeter fence line. Smoking is permitted in the designated smoking area on Wetlands side, the car parks and parkland areas, except at public transport waiting points (the taxi rank, drop off/pick up/ride share area) and within a five metre buffer zone beyond the waiting point.
For patrons attending events in the Main Arena or the Sports Centre, there is a designated smoking area on the Wetlands side where smoking is permitted (no food or drink is permitted in this area). The designated smoking area is external to the perimeter fence line of the Courtyard and patrons will require a pass out to access this area. Patrons will then be required to be processed through the security checkpoint for re-entry.
There are no ATMs in operation. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre is a cashless venue.
Banners, posters, flags or signs larger than an A3 sheet of paper can not be brought into the venue. For some events, signs are completely prohibited.
Food & Beverage
For most events catering outlets will open when external gates & foyer opens. Please note not all catering outlets are open for every event. For more specific details we recommend that patrons check the website a day or two prior to the event. All food purchased inside the Centre may be taken into the Arena during a performance.
We try to cater for as many requirements as possible and try to have something for everyone, like an entire Gluten-Free outlet (opposite Door) as well as Vegetarian and Vegan options.
Check the event page for the event you are coming to a day or two out from show day, this is updated with a list of outlets open and what will be on offer. Please note this is a guide only and can change without notice.
External/Commercial food and drink can not be brought into the BEC.
Patrons are permitted to enter with a limit of one (1) sealed 600mL PET bottle of water, per person. Exceptions to this are when the Tour requires a decant policy to be in place and these can vary.

All food and beverage outlets the BEC accept payments by Card Only. All debit and credit cards are accepted as well as payments via Phone and other devices. Patrons attending the BEC with cash only will be able to exchange it for a ‘Cash Card’. Our staff can show you where.
The American Express Lounge opens the door to unforgettable experiences. When you’re at a concert we want to make sure you have a great time. With this in mind we’ve created a distinctive lounge at Brisbane Entertainment Centre for American Express Card Members. It’s designed for you and your guests to enjoy prior to the show, away from the busy crowds.
To gain entry to the American Express Lounge at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre simply show your American Express® Card. The American Express Lounge is located on Level 3. Entry is available via Administration or through the glass doors on Level 2, just follow the signs to Level 3.
BEC is a licensed venue and practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. Free drinking water is available at every bar. Patrons who appear under 25 must present a current drivers licence, Proof of Age Card or Passport prior to being served. Penalties apply for patrons who fail to comply with conditions set out in the QLD Liquor Act 1992.
TICKETING
Ticketek is the authorised ticketing partner of the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at any Ticketek agency. Just follow the link from our event page.
The Ticketek Box Office is only open event days and usually opens 30 minutes before external gates to the venue open.
When a ticket is sold as restricted/obstructed the view of the performance may be restricted from your seat. Reasons may include side/rear-view, stage set up, barriers, poles or other performance values. You will always be advised when offered a seat that has restricted viewing.
You need to enter through the door allocated on your ticket, however as it is GA you can meet up and find your friends on the floor.
Sometimes for the safety of guests attending the venue the GA section might be split in two. Unfortunately you will need to stay in the area you have been allocated and if in the back GA section you can not gain entry to the front section.
When there are only single seats left, this means there are not two or more seats side by side. If you choose to purchase multiple single seats, these seats will not be allocated next to each other. Unfortunately we will not be able to move your group to be seated together.

The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making a booking, On the day of the event they must present their valid Companion Card to staff to receive their (free) carer ticket. If a carer ticket is not booked at the time of purchase we are unable to provide on one the day of the show.

Access to a complimentary carer ticket is available to government issued Companion Card holders. Please ensure you advise us at the time of booking. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making a booking, then present their valid Companion Card to staff upon arrival on the event day to receive their (free) carer ticket. If a carer ticket is not booked at the time of purchase we are unable to provide on one the day of the show.
Accredited service animals are always welcome inside the venue and at all times must display their companion vest / lead for ease of identification. Please ensure you advise our team at the time of booking so we can assist in placing you in appropriate seating for the ease, comfort and safety of both you and your accredited service companion.
Accessible car parking spaces are located close to the BEC turnstile entrances. Please ensure your disability parking permit is clearly displayed on your car and follow the directions given by our staff. Parking costs $18 per visit payable by debit/credit card only. (BEC is a cashless venue)
Mobility aid charging stations are located on Level 1 and 2. If you require assistance please advise our Accessibility Coordinator at Administration who will arrange for a team member to show you to their locations.
Transport & Parking
Our carpark is only open on event days/nights and opens roughly an hour before the external gates open.
Parking is charged at $18 per visit, payable to the car park attendant upon entry (cashless payments only). To minimise delays patrons should arrive early or share vehicles with friends.
To obtain an accessibility space, please display a current disability parking permit on car windscreen upon entry. Ensure that you follow the directions of the car park attendants at all times.
The BEC operates on a first come first serve basis, however we have ample parking onsite.
Yes you can, we have a dedicated drop off and pick up zone, please let our friendly staff know when entering the carpark and follow the directions to this location.

Boondall Railway Station on the Shorncliffe Line is approximately 600m to the venue. We highly recommend patrons visit the Translink website for service information or call 13 12 30.
For some events a Traffic Management Plan may be in place for exiting after the show. All traffic exiting via Gate A will be diverted to Sandgate Road. All traffic exiting via Gate B will be directed to the Gateway Motorway. Ensure you are familiar with both locations and plan in advance.
